1. Do I need to own or bring a Bible?
Not at all. You don’t need a Bible to participate. You don’t even need to know anything about the Bible. The Course book contains all the Bible sections that you will be engaging in throughout the course. But if you have a Bible, please bring it. That is what this course is all about.
2. Can I bring my spouse, a family member or friend along?
If you prefer to have someone else learn with you, this is usually not a problem. The Course is meant for everyone. We encourage family and friends to learn together. Please check with the course leader to see if there is room for extra participants. If needed, your leader may choose to run another course to accommodate your friends and family.
You should also feel free to request a one-on-one course if you prefer. Learning about the Bible is a private matter for some. Don't hesitate to request a private course if you prefer. This is perfectly fine.

3. Will I receive any curriculum for use during The Course?
Yes! In the first session you will receive a course book that includes an interactive DVD. The DVD contains all the video clips shown during the course. You should also receive a workbook that corresponds with the course book. These are yours to take home.
4. Do I have to do the workbook questions?
Not really, but consider this. The WorkBook questions are not a test. They were designed to confirm a participant's understanding of the material covered in each session. It will help you know with confidence that you are on track when your course leader reviews your WorkBook answers with you. WorkBook time provides an opportunity to ask questions to clarify points. It only takes a few minutes to answer the questions.
5. Can I miss a session?
The Bible is one continuous unfolding story, not a group of disjointed stories. Missing a session means you’ll miss part of the story, leaving a critical gap in your understanding. It’s therefore best to not miss any sessions.
If you can’t make it to a session, let the course leader know. He or she can make other arrangements for you. Make-up sessions are common. As an alternative, your leader can provide you the material and video clips for the session that was missed. You can do these on your own time.

6. Can I drop out of the course halfway?
Yes, you may, but keep in mind that the core message of the Bible will be progressively revealed session after session. You will not get the full picture and a clear understanding until the very end. It only takes 16 hours to complete the course. It would be a worthwhile investment of time to stick with it till the end.
